In our current economy, money is on the minds of many people. Individual and government debts are rising, while job security and benefits become a thing of the past. More and more people are becoming fed up with the state of their finances and are looking to change their situations for the better. And that is where this website comes in. Here, at Increase Your Income, you’ll find many suggestions to help you change your financial situation. Now, just because they are numerous, does not mean that every suggestion is created equally.
You see, I’m fascinated by business, but it hasn’t always been that way. For most of my life I liked to poke fun at the world of finance, thinking that all I needed was enough to get by. My mind has changed…sort of. Now, what I find is that I look at business (especially online business) with a sense of awe, excitement, confusion and interest. But, while all of these elements are great, I still find enjoyment in poking fun at the financial world. In my opinion, one can make money online or earn extra cash in offline ventures, but if you can’t have fun while you’re doing it, what’s the point?
Keep this idea in mind, when you delve into my thoughts and the thoughts of others that will be posting to this site. Some of the information will be beneficial to you, in your search to create a brighter financial picture. Some of it will not line up with your thoughts, but might expand your mindset to allow you to accept your true financial destiny, down the road a little ways. And some of it…well, some of it is intended to be ridiculous. If I can’t have fun while I’m writing these posts, then I don’t want to write them. And, there are enough serious people out there with supposedly successful businesses that can make money without cracking a smile. If you hate smiling, then you should keep on googling or stumbling along your way. However, if you want to learn and laugh, then please stick around and explore the site to your heart’s content. If you like what you see, you may even want to consider joining me in a business venture along the way, but we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it…assuming that it’s built. If not, we’ll build that bridge when we both get to the same point at the same river, but on opposite ends and with a desire to cross and meet…yeah, let’s leave that one alone for now.
The other thing that I’d like to explain is that this website is flexible. Aside from writing my own entries, I will also be calling upon successful people that I know to write articles that I am not equipped to write, because I do not have their experience. Not everyone will be a millionaire. That is not the intention of this website. Some people might just be looking for a little extra cash to spend on gifts or to pay off a credit card bill every month. Some people will be looking for a change in career and some will be looking to make a huge score. Everyone is welcome here. The idea is to find ways to have more money in your bank account than when you started, but the actual amount does not matter. So, if you happen upon this site and you think there might be a hole that needs filling, you can send me a message in the contact form or email me directly (info on the contact page). You can suggest a topic, or if you’re well versed in that topic, you might consider sending in a little blog to teach a little something to all of the readers. Whatever you decide, I hope you can find something on this site that you can’t find somewhere else, in the ocean of information that is the World Wide Web. Enjoy!
